Welcome to Buffalo, New York, a fantastic destination with so many riches to see and to explore. Few people know the treasures of Buffalo- you will be blown away! The music. The architecture. The history.  The renewal and Resurgence!

Throughout this itinerary you will dive into the city’s special music scene, enjoy live performances, local arts and crafts.  The “Music is Art Festival” is an up close and personal experience with musical greats. Explore Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural treasures, enjoy amazing food and drinks, see the highlights of the city and learn about the fascinating history of the Colored Musicians Club. You will visit the world-famous Niagara Falls USA and experience the thrill of the majestic Falls aboard the Maid of the Mist and the Cave of the Winds. This experience will be exciting, enriching and one of your most memorable travel journeys!

  • Airport or train arrivals and transfers to the Hampton Inn & Suites Buffalo Downtown (220 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, NY 14202). Airport or train transfers can be booked on request- additional charge. Please plan to arrive in Buffalo by 2 pm.

  • Hotel Check-in and time to freshen up

  • 4 pm– 6 pm Enjoy a 2-hour Architecture & History Tour of Buffalo on a “London Style” Double Decker Bus with an entertaining, funny local guide. See the Industry, Silos, Canalside, Buffalo City Hall, architectural treasures and much more

  • 6pm-7:30pm Explore the newly expanded AKG Museum, a must-see Art Destination. Find pieces by familiar artists such as Renoir, Picasso, Van Gogh, Warhol as well as emerging artists. First Friday’s are the specialty with music.

  • 8 pm Welcome Dinner at Resurgence Brewery, featuring famous Buffalo chicken wings and more delicious food with great drinks in a very creative brewery setting

  • Return transfer to the hotel

  • Breakfast at the hotel

  • Transfer to the “Music is Art Festival”

  • Music is Art Festival Downtown Buffalo VIP tickets- Enjoy a great variety of music on many stages, arts and crafts, dance performances and vendors. The VIP tickets include access to a special VIP lounge, private performances, lunch, dinner and various drinks throughout. This spectacular event goes on until 1 am.

  • Return transfer to the hotel on own via Uber at the time of your choice.

  • Breakfast at the hotel

  • Transfer to the Colored Musicians Club

  • 1 pm Meet with George Scott, band leader & historian from the Colored Musicians Club and hear the history of this private club and the Jazz Greats- Count Basie, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horne, Marilyn Monroe and more. See a film, listen to music and hear the fantastic sounds- a world in its own. Think of the “Green Book” movie.

  • 4:30 pm-6:30 pm Visit and tour Frank Lloyd Wright’s Graycliff, the Summer Estate of the Martins, with beautiful views of Lake Eerie, followed by a reception and music on the lawn.

  • 7 pm -9 pm Champagne Toast and a 2-hour sunset cruise aboard the “Moondance” Catamaran with delectable food, drink and soothing music

  • Return transfer to the hotel

   *Option to explore some local music on own for willing participants on “Chippewa Street” near to the hotel- entertainment district       with various bars and live music locations

  • Breakfast at the hotel

  • 10 am Transfer to and visit the majestic Niagara Falls USA

  • Enjoy a ride on the Maid of the Mist, which features two environmental friendly, zero- emission vessels, that will take you as close as possible to the amazing Niagara Falls.

  • Experience the Cave of the Winds and let the rushing waters loom above you

  • Time permitting stop at the Niagara Falls USA Fashion Outlets

  • Return transfer to the hotel in Buffalo and time to freshen up

  • Transfer to Restaurant Tappo

  • Rooftop dinner at Restaurant Tappo is with performance of a great Jazz band by Buffalo Jazz Musicians

  • Return transfer to the hotel
